Cannot load SQL Server 2008 packages.

The tool throws an unhandled exception when trying to load a Template package;
The exception is "Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt" which states that a object reference was not bound to an object instance.
The details state that a null reference exception has occurred (in german) and shows a call stack.

The tool doesn't recognize the sorted component and conversion component.

I am having the same issue too. In my case the installation is in english.
